FLAG ON THE MOON

Wow, in all of my years as a flag and car flag fanatic it never dawned on me that at this very moment there is an american flag planted on the surface of the moon. I mean, I KNEW but it just wasn't part of my daily thinking. But ponder this for a moment: 250,000 miles away there is a flag made of standard fabric sitting in a airless, weightless void. This has got to be the most impressive yet most overlooked and forgotten flag in the history of mankind, me thinks. Next thing NASA needs to do is attach a car flag to the shuttle, park it on Mars, setup a webcam, and then I'll spend my remaining days looking for alien lifeforms entering the screen. Imagine if car flags ended up being the intergalactic intermediary between human and alien? Woah!
